. Flagstaff is a city of 55,000 people and the geographical, cultural and recreational center of Northern Arizona , It sits at the foot of Arizona's highest mountain, Humphrey's Peak , 12,634-feet high and is surrounded by national forests and  three national monuments are nearby,  a little further away are the Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest national parks.
